It brings together books, programs, and resources that address both the personal and structural challenges families face—connecting storytelling with practical systems that support long-term stability.

The work represented on this site is built around a simple principle: families thrive when they have access to education, stability, and community support at the same time. Rather than operating as disconnected projects, Tyson Pete’s work functions as a coordinated ecosystem that addresses these needs in parallel.

Visitors to this site can learn about published books, nonprofit initiatives, educational pathways, retreats, and opportunities to engage through partnerships, media, or community involvement.

The Courageous Love Ecosystem

Publishing and Curriculum

Books and written resources explore fatherhood, identity, healing, leadership, and family dynamics. These materials are used both for personal reflection and as educational tools within community and learning environments.

Nonprofit Programs

Through P.R.O.U.D. Inc., community-based programs focus on housing pathways, mentorship, leadership development, and support for gay fathers and their families. The emphasis is on stability, accountability, and long-term outcomes rather than short-term intervention.

Education

P.R.O.U.D. Academy provides a family-centered educational pathway designed to support academic progress alongside emotional development. Education is treated as a stabilizing force that strengthens families over time.

Retreats and Experiences

In-person retreats and workshops offer structured spaces for reflection, learning, and leadership development. These experiences are designed to complement ongoing education and community support rather than exist as isolated events.

Why This Work Exists

Gay fathers and LGBTQ+ families often encounter gaps in housing stability, affirming education, and coordinated support systems. Many services address only one area at a time, leaving families to navigate complex systems on their own. This work was created to reduce fragmentation by aligning education, community support, and leadership development into a single, accessible framework.

What “Healing Infrastructure” Means

Healing infrastructure means the systems that help families stay stable over time—education plans, housing pathways, community accountability, and leadership development. It is the bridge between visibility and real outcomes.
