P.R.O.U.D. Inc. began as a lifeline.
Born from one father’s silence and struggle, it started with a simple truth: love shouldn’t have to hide to be holy. Tyson Pete built P.R.O.U.D. Inc. after realizing how few spaces existed for gay fathers—places that understood both the pride and the pressure of raising families in a world still learning to see them. What began as one man’s effort to heal his own story grew into a national call for visibility, dignity, and support.
Over time, that lifeline became a bridge. Fathers found their voices, children found language for belonging, and communities began to shift. Through coaching, education, and advocacy, P.R.O.U.D. Inc. created programs that turned pain into purpose. Families once defined by secrecy learned how to lead with honesty. The organization became a movement—proof that courage, when shared, can change culture.
