Music has always given me another way to tell the truth.
Writing allows me to explain a story.
Music allows me to feel it.
Through melody, lyrics and emotion, I can express things that do not always belong in a book, on a stage or inside a conversation.
Love.
Heartbreak.
Desire.
Loneliness.
Identity.
Relationships.
Growth.
Mistakes.
Freedom.
And the complicated parts of life that rarely fit neatly into one category.
For me, music is not about becoming somebody different.
It is another part of who I already am.
Music Has Always Been Personal
I have never believed creativity has to stay in one lane.
Sometimes the story becomes a book.
Sometimes it becomes a speech.
Sometimes it becomes a conversation.
And sometimes it needs music.
Music gives me permission to be less structured.
To follow emotion.
To sit inside a feeling instead of immediately trying to explain it.
There are things you can say in three minutes of music that would take chapters to communicate any other way.
That is what keeps bringing me back to it.
The Sound of Real Life
I am drawn to music that feels lived in.
Not perfect.
Not manufactured.
Human.
My music is influenced by the same experiences that shape the rest of my creative work; relationships, family, identity, love, pain, personal evolution and learning how to become more honest with yourself.
I am interested in making music people can recognize themselves inside.
The kind of song that makes someone stop because a lyric sounds a little too familiar.
That connection matters more to me than pretending every part of life has a clean ending.
More Than One Kind of Storyteller
I am an author.
I am a speaker.
I am a chef.
I am a coach.
And I am also a recording artist.
None of those identities need to compete with each other.
They are simply different ways I create.
The medium changes.
The storyteller does not.
Whether I am writing a chapter, preparing a meal, having a difficult conversation or recording a song, the objective is usually the same:
Create something real enough for somebody else to feel it.
What's Next
Music remains part of my creative future.
New songs, recordings, collaborations and visual content may be released as the right projects develop.
I am not interested in releasing music simply to stay visible.
If I release something, I want there to be a reason for it.
A story.
A feeling.
A moment.
Something worth saying.

Because sometimes the story needs a page.
