P.R.O.U.D. Inc. was founded by Tyson Pete to support gay fathers, LGBTQ+ parents and their families through education, community, advocacy and practical resources.

Unlearn shame, destructive discipline, silence, unhealthy masculinity, abandonment, fear, and inherited family patterns.

Why the Work Exists
LGBTQ+ visibility has expanded significantly.
That matters.
But visibility and infrastructure are not the same thing.
A father can be visible and still need parenting support.
A family can be celebrated publicly while struggling privately.
A child can live in an affirming home while still needing academic resources.
A parent can have community and still feel alone.
P.R.O.U.D. Inc. exists in that space between representation and practical family life.
PROGRAMS
P.R.O.U.D. inc. academy
P.R.O.U.D. Inc. Academy extends the mission into education.
The Academy focuses on academic development alongside practical preparation for life.
Education should prepare young people not simply to pass exams, but to think, communicate, make responsible decisions and enter adulthood with tools they can actually use.
Programming may include academic subjects, financial literacy, digital responsibility, career development, communication, life skills and personal leadership.
The Courage Lab
The Courage Lab is a self-guided personal-growth experience designed around the P.R.O.U.D. principles.
Participants are encouraged to examine their habits, relationships, communication, family patterns, responsibilities and future goals through structured lessons and reflection.
The objective is not perfection.
It is progress that can be measured in real life.
The Fatherhood fellowship
The Fatherhood Fellowship brings structured fatherhood development into a deeper learning experience.
The program explores:
emotional awareness;
communication;
parent-child relationships;
family leadership;
identity;
boundaries;
personal responsibility;
cycle-breaking;
and creating a stronger foundation for the next generation.
Community Healing & Family Programming
Tyson's broader community work may include:
