Courageous Love:
The Blog For Queer Dads

Healing. Fatherhood. Legacy. Visibility. Truth.

There was a time when queer fathers were erased from the conversation.
Not absent. Not incapable. Erased.

Our stories were hidden behind closed doors, buried under shame, religion, fear, rejection, survival, and silence. Society often painted fatherhood as something reserved for one type of man, one type of family, one acceptable narrative.

But love has always been bigger than permission.

Courageous Love: The Queer Dads’ Blog is a living archive for the fathers who refused to disappear. The men building homes after heartbreak. The dads learning how to nurture while healing themselves. The fathers raising children while also re-raising the wounded child inside of them.

This is not performative fatherhood.
This is legacy work.

Here, we talk about the real things:

  • Co-parenting and custody battles

  • Healing from abandonment and rejection

  • Breaking generational cycles

  • Mental health and emotional intelligence

  • Dating while parenting

  • Financial stability and leadership

  • LGBTQ+ family visibility

  • Faith, identity, masculinity, and vulnerability

  • Chosen family and community

  • Raising emotionally healthy children

  • Navigating schools, systems, and society as queer parents

  • Love after survival

This blog exists because queer fathers deserve more than stereotypes.
We deserve infrastructure.
We deserve representation.
We deserve spaces where honesty is not punished.
